Buffalo Bills have signed DE Willie Jefferson to a future contract

Today the Buffalo Bills signed former Stephen F. Austin defensive end Willie Jefferson to a future contract. Willie played college ball at Baylor before transferring to the FCS ranks.  Jefferson tore it up his senior year of college and was able to play in the Raycom All Star Game.

After an amazing all star performance in front of Buddy Nix, Willie prepared for the draft.  He was not selected in the draft, but did sign an undrafted free agent contract with the Houston Texans.  After an amazing pre-season Willie made the 53 man roster of the Texans.

Willie was later cut by the Texans along with two other teammates for smoking a cigar in a team hotel.  Willie has finally landed back on his feet, and the 6’6 monster is ready to wreak havoc for Mike Pettine and the Buffalo Bills defense.
