What is your name?

Brady Gustafson

What is your Height/Weight?

6’6″/235

What is your position?

QB

Where do you play college football?

Montana

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

A few years back I attended an event for volunteer fire department members in a nearby town from Missoula, Montana. This event was held to celebrate the fire fighters as well as raise funds for them to maintain and improve their fire station. It was an awesome experience to interact with those unspoken heroes and their families.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

The hardest class I took in college would either have to be Tax or Financial Markets.

Where are you from?

Billings, Montana

Who is your role model, and why?

Growing up during his prime, I would have to say Brett Favre.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I played baseball through my sophomore year in high school and basketball all through high school.

Did you play any other positions in football?

N/A

At your position, what separates you from others?

I would say something that sets me apart at the quarterback is my relationship with my teammates. In college, think it is important for locker room culture to have a relationship with everyone in the facility and bring along the younger players.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

When looking at defenses in film, I look for subtle techniques or alignments that may tell what is coming from the defense.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Lorenzo Jerome from Saint Francis. Absolute ball hawk and stud.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

I think the obvious choice here is Joe Flacco due to physical comparisons.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

My biggest obstacle without a doubt came when I broke my leg my Junior season at Liberty. Prior to that I never had a serious injury and that was a tough time to overcome. But with the support of my close friends and teammates and also drive to return to the playing field, I was able to continue to do the right things to promote healing and get back to action as quickly as possible.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I would often wear 80’s rock band tee shirts during warmups before games.

What is your biggest strength?

I would say my biggest strength is being able to think  on the football field. Being able to use the knowledge about the game that I have and not becoming paralyzed by analyzing too much.

What is your biggest weakness?

I’d say my biggest weakness is my mobility. I’m constantly trying to improve upon my quickness to make subtle moves in the pocket and also trying to improve my speed.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I would say (as quickly as I could) that I’ve wanted to play in the NFL ever since I was 3 years all and I will continue to give all that I am to the great sport of football.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Brett Favre

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

The Rock, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

I’m not sure I would buy anything too big. If anything I would buy a new driver for my golf bag.
