What is your position?

Safety/ DB

Where do you play college football?

Georgia State

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

I Hosted a community service event that created a fun experience for kids at HopeHill Elementary. We played sports, games and made learning about nutrition fun. Volunteers from my football team helped make this an impactful event for the children.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Philosophy

Where are you from?

Los Angeles

Who is your role model, and why?

My Mom and Dad are my role models because although they aren’t perfect, they’ve taught me to strive for perfection but still accept failure as a learning experience and process.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Baseball, Track, Basketball, Skateboarding, SnowBoarding, Surfing, Etc.

Did you play any other positions in football?

Receiver, RB, QB, LB.

At your position, what separates you from others?

My extensive mental capacity separates me from any player at my position. I’ve learned 6 different Defensive schemes in the last 6 years and I’ve had a great enough understanding of each to call defensive plays and checks successfully. The way that I study film and breakdown teams/players gives me a huge advantage over most.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

When analyzing film, I will first watch the overall scheme tendencies of an offense. What are they trying to do 1st,2,3& 4th qtr. who are they trying to get the ball to.  Go to’s when losing, plus go to’s when they are winning. Then I’ll study individual tendencies and their technique. I will watch everything from film, to YouTube highlights, interviews and social media.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Dak Prescott for M. St when they were ranked #1 in 2014. We played week 2, so all of the film we had on him was from last year. None of what I expected from Him was the same. His feet, eyes and decision making had been trained during the off season .

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Eric Reid and I are both tall, long and rangy. Plus relentless tacklers In both the box or open field. We both like to play physical man on TE’s. We can play low Zones and Deep Zone with Range.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

The Biggest obstacle for me so far was tearing my ACL my first year of D1 Football. I had just came off a huge game against Miss. St. And was starting to get some national respect. This was the first time I’d ever had a major injury like this and at first I felt helpless. I soon realized it would be a blessing In disguise that I’d eventually be thankful for. I took it as an opportunity to strengthen my entire body avoid future injury. This unfortunate circumstance led me to a more superior mind set.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I have a 3 phase playlist. At the start of any game day, I listen to relaxing calm music like lauryn hill and erykah badu. Right about lunch time or halfway b4 the game I listen to a more wordy thinking playlist full of common, Kendrick, j Cole. Lastly as I head to the stadium and get ready to play I listen to more up tempo artists like Rick Ross, Jay Z, Kanye.

What is your biggest strength?

My Work ethic.

What is your biggest weakness?

Mass/Weight

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

My name is Bobby Baker. If you give me an opportunity, I will be an asset to your team that will continue to pay you back with interest. I won’t be found on the news or in the nightclub. I am interested in personal development and giving to the underprivileged youth community.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Ladanian Tomlinson, Brian Dawkins, Ed Reed.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
