Bills have had preliminary talks with Jim Schwartz and reached out to Steve Spags

Today we learned at NFL Draft Diamonds that the Buffalo Bills would be making their decision soon on their next defensive coordinator. We heard that the decision could come within the next 24-48 hours.

Well we are now hearing that the Bills have held conversations with both Steve Spagnuolo and Jim Schwartz.

The Bills have talked to both about their schemes and the Bills personnel on defense. They want to see what each coach brings to the table. Both Spags and Schwartz have different schemes than Mike Pettine, which could be the reason they are talking to both.

We have been told that if the Bills cannot get what they are looking for they will turn to their current staff for promotion. Donnie Henderson or Jim O’Brien could both br candidates for the position.

The Bills are currently working hard to find their guy, and it seems like we will know sooner rather than later.
