Belhaven University lands former University of Hawaii WR Dwight Armbrust

Today was the first day of practice for former Hawaii wide receiver Dwight Armbrust. The 6’1 wide out has been hoping to get a shot to prove his talents after a short hiatus from UH.

Armbrust will join Coach Joseph Thrasher in Belhaven. Coach Thrasher has been doing a great job at getting these small school kids a shot in the NFL. Over the past three years several players have had a shot in the NFL.

This year the Blazers have both Matt Hall the former Ole Miss OT who is rated the 100th best prospect in 2014 per Gil Brandt of NFL Network. The Offense also has former UAB transfer RB Rashad Wynes. I expect this offense to be fun and high scoring, especially adding Dwight who can play both the slot and the outside.
