Arizona Cardinals will host the Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl next year
The Arizona Cardinals are being blessed with a Pro Bowl/Super Bowl doubleheader next year. Unfortunately, the San Francisco 49ers were hoping to do the same thing in 2016 and it does not look like that is going to happen. The Pro Bowl will likely return to Hawaii in 2016.
The NFL announced Wednesday that the Pro Bowl will be in Arizona next January, a week before the Super Bowl is held there. The league has a tentative agreement to bring back the Pro Bowl to Hawaii, the most frequent host for the All-Star game, in 2016. It will be held a week before the Super Bowl is held in Levi’s Stadium, the new home of the 49ers in Santa Clara, Calif.
Now only if the NFL could make the Pro Bowl relevant again, the NFL would be on the right path. The nice thing about the Pro Bowl joining the Super Bowl is the guys in the Super Bowl can probably take part in some of the activities.
