A running back named Christine could be taking over the league soon

When you hear the name Christine you automatically think of a female, but believe me Christine Michael is far from a girl.

A native of Beaumont, Texas, Michael attended West Brook Senior High School in Beaumont, and played high school football for the West Brook Bruins. He rushed for 3,927 yards on 501 carries. His play in high school led to a full scholarship to Texas A&M University.

Michael accepted an athletic scholarship to attend Texas A&M University, where he played for the Texas A&M Aggies football team from 2009 to 2012. In 2009, after posting 844 total rushing yards on 166 carries, Michael received Offensive Freshman of the Year honors from the Big 12 Conference.

If you haven’t been watching the preseason, or are not a big NFL draft fan you probably do not know much about Michael but the kid has been tearing it up. Even though Michael isn’t competing for a starting job, as that job belongs to Marshawn Lynch, he is definitely making a case that he deserves to get the ball in his hands often when the season starts.

I expect Michael to get the ball quite a bit this year, because his speed is deceiving, and he could be a very good 3rd down back. I would not be surprised if the football player named Chrsitine is a starting back in this league very soon.
