49ers make a ton of roster moves
The San Francisco 49ers waived/released several players today to get their toster down to 75.
The team cut RB Jewel Hampton, S D.J. Campbell, WR Devon Wylie, QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson, TE Kevin Greene, P Colton Schmidt, WR David Reed, and ILB Kion Wilson.
49ers placed ILB Navorro Bowman (knee) on the reserve/PUP list and placed G/T Brandon Thomas (knee) on the reserve/NFI list.
