49ers cut CB Nnamdi Asomugha, he could be claimed via waivers as early as tomorrow
Just a few days ago Nnamdi Asomugha found out he was going to be a father. Well just like the average american he will have to do it with out a job.
49ers waived CB Nnamdi Asomugha according to Ian Rapoport. The team will activate Eric Wright to replace Asomugha as cornerback depth. Appearing in just three games with San Francisco, 32-year-old Asomugha was replaces by Trehmaine Brock. Brock has been outstanding at left corner in nickel packages.
I could see someone claiming Nnamdi Asomugha, he is very cheap and at a reasonable price. His contract is just one million dollars. A team like Buffalo could sign him.
