What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Growing up it’s all I ever wanted to do, I had 5 older brothers all play football and I grew up at their practices watching their games and my parents said I used to cry because I wanted to be out there playing as well.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I’m waiting on my opportunity to prove myself right that I can play football at the pro level and looking to play football as long as God allows me to play the game!

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I’d say Jalen Ramsey, because of his mentality and swagger and approach to the game. I’d like to pick his brain on the way he goes about things and how he gets better and try to mimic that as much as possible.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I’d have to say winning back to back National Championships with my brothers at Ferris State.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mother, because she always found a way to make things happen for the family even with tough circumstances.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

Man free, because you have an opportunity to play outside leverage and eliminate certain routes with your leverage and know where you have help.

What should we know about Cyntell Williams the person?

Cyntell Williams is an optimistic football player and hungry for an opportunity to showcase his talent at the pro level and willing to do whatever he can to make the team better.

What stands out about your film the most?

The ability to tackle in space and play multiple positions on the back end.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I try to face challenges face first and take it for what they are and figure out the best way to overcome them.

What is your typical training routine?

I like to roll out and stretch for about 20-30 minutes before a lift then I’d get a lift in, get food, relax and maybe hit the field for some position work some days if not I’ll jog a few miles if I’m not doing position work. Some days I like to hit the pool for a workout. Basically I try to make sure I get some type of workout in everyday twice a day and try my best to eat clean and stretch before bed.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love the process, I love what it takes to be on a team and hard work, blood, sweat and tears it takes to become a good team. And I love the opportunity you have week in and week out to go out on the field with another 10 guys and compete.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

I’d say Ian Hall a defensive end at Ferris State, I choose him because he waited 3 years before he got his chance to play at Ferris State. Didn’t complain just showed up everyday and did his part now he’s a big part of the defense there.
