Which Player from the 2022 NFL Draft Could Be a Future Madden Cover Star?

Kayvon Thibodeaux

If we move beyond quarterbacks, there are several other players from this year’s draft class who could be future Madden cover stars. One of which is Kayvon Thibodeaux, the defensive end out of Oregon, who is projected to be the top overall pick in the draft.

Thibodeaux is a dynamic pass-rusher with incredible speed and agility, and he has the potential to be a game-changing defender in the NFL. This is just the beginning. Words alone cannot describe how talented Kayvon is – he is undeniably one of the best NFL players in recent history.

He’s also known for his unique look and style, which could give him an edge over other candidates. Most people refer to Kayvon Thibodeaux as the “stylish” NFL player – so this could work wonders for him when it comes to the discussion of who would be a good fit to be the new face of Madden.

Kayvon Thibodeaux is one of the most talented players in the NFL, and when you pair this with his distinguished look and style, it comes as no surprise that predictions about him becoming the new poster child for Madden are rampant.

Derek Stingley Jr.

Another player who could be a future Madden cover star is Derek Stingley Jr., the cornerback out of LSU who is widely regarded as the best defensive back in the draft. Stingley is a lockdown defender with excellent coverage skills and ball-hawking ability, making him a formidable opponent for anyone who is unlucky enough to come into contact with him on the field.

Just as is the case with many of the other players on this list, Derek Stingley Jr. has somewhat of an intriguing personality. The simplest way to describe Derek Stingley Jr. is to just say that he is a natural born entertainer.

Derek relishes in entertaining people and getting the crowds roaring, and this can be seen through his flashy play and confident demeanour. People just love Derek Stingley Jr., both because of his skills and his entertaining personality.

This gives Stingley a huge advantage when it comes to being picked as the new face of Madden. His skill, personality, and popularity make him a great choice for the role, and there would be few other candidates who could fit the bill as good as him.

However, it is worth noting that Derek’s showman personality could end up hindering his chances of becoming the poster child for Madden instead of improving them. Players like Derek can be divisive, to say the least.

Not everyone is a fan of Stingley’s outlandish personality, and while there certainly are a lot who are, it could still be something that EA factors into the decision. Either way; Derek Stingley Jr. is a fascinating player in all regards, and we could easily see him become the new face of Madden.

Evan Neal

The next player we would like to showcase is Evan Neal, the offensive tackle out of Alabama who is projected to be a top-10 pick. Neal is an enormous lineman with incredible strength and athleticism, making him a fan-favourite due to his scary power and take-down potential.

Evan has something that all Madden cover athletes – he is extremely likeable. The vast majority of people have a favourable opinion of Evan Neal thanks to his laid-back personality and unique look, and this is something that is undeniably going to play in his favour when it comes to his chances of becoming the new face of Madden.

Evan is also pretty recognizable because of humongous physique, which could make the next iteration of Madden stand out from its predecessors and help marketing.

That all goes without mentioning his impressive skill on the field. This offensive tackle matches strength with speed, and watching him hone in on a target and take someone down is fascinating.

The only problem that may hinder Evan’s chances of becoming the new face of Madden is the fact that he isn’t as well known as some of the other candidates on this list. While Evan certainly is world-famous and an inspiration to many, his reach does not extend as far as other players like Derek Stingley Jr.

Despite this, Evan Neal is an exceptional player that stands out for his superior skill and size, and there is no doubt that his name is going to at least come up when it comes to the discussion of who should be the next Madden poster child.

Before we leave you, it is important to note that all of the predictions we have given you in this article are just that – predictions. No one can truly know who the next face of Madden is going to be, and for all intents and purposes, it could be somebody who we didn’t even feature on this list.

The amount of talent that is out there in the current NFL line-up is incredible, and we have no doubt that the higher-ups behind Madden are going to have a tough choice on their hands. There are also a ton of other variables that we cannot even begin to factor into the equation, like what kind of feel EA wants the newest Madden to have.

Only time will tell who the next poster child for Madden will be, but whoever it is, they are going to bring inspiration and joy to an entire new generation of NFL fans.
