Kyler Murray’s former teammate has some harsh advice for the Young QB, GROW UP!

Kelvin Beachum was a pro’s-pro in the NFL, and played for many years with star football players. The former Cardinals offensive lineman was on the Arizona Sports 98.7 FM radio show talking with hosts and he was asked about his former quarterback.

Beachum had some pretty strong advice for his former teammate.

“He needs to grow up a little bit” if wants to be a leader in Arizona. Beachum further explained, “Grow up. Be a man and grow up.”

Damn, that is pretty blunt and right to the point. Beachum is not holding back and I cannot blame him. While Beachum did go on to say he feels Murray could in fact be a good leader, he states he still lacks leadership skills.

“It’s not a completed processI didn’t say he lacks leadership, I just think he needs to grow up a little bit. I think if he has the ability and willingness to grow up, he’s going to be just fine. [The Cardinals] paid him for a reason — they paid him because of his talent. He has the ability to lead. When you’re in that position, we need you to lead more. You’re the face of the franchise … you have to lead in every single capacity,” Beachum explained.
