Joe Mixon’s sister named a suspect in the shooting incident that took place outside his residence
There have been reports that Bengals running back Joe Mixon could be under investigation for a shooting that occurred around his home on Monday Night, but police have a suspect they are in fact targeting.
According to TMZ Sports, an incident report from Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office states that Sholanda Mixon, Joe’s older sister has been named a suspect in the shooting along with another person.
The sheriff’s office said in the incident report, according to Butler County’s Journal-News, that kids were playing “dart wars” with Nerf guns. Eleven shots were then fired and hit a 16-year-old in the foot. The kid was taken to the hospital, and a car reportedly tried to leave the scene.
That car had two suspects to include Shalonda and a man named Lamonte Brewer. Police did recover a rifle.
