USFL has instituted a standard professional football system where players who are cut by a team will be put on waivers for 24 hours. During this period, a player can be claimed by any other team. To start, the order of claiming cut players will be by order of the Draft Lottery:

1) Michigan Panthers
2) Tampa Bay Bandits
3) Philadelphia Stars
4) New Jersey Generals
5) Houston Gamblers
6) Birmingham Stallions
7) Pittsburgh Maulers
8) New Orleans Breakers

Birmingham Stallions

  • Stallions released DT Haston Adams
  • Stallions signed DT Jordan Thompson

Michigan Panthers

  • Panthers signed OG Cordel Iwuagwu
  • Panthers released OLB Tre’ Threat
  • Panthers placed OG Marquel Harrell on the Reserve/Did Not Report List

New Jersey Generals

  • Generals released DE Malik Hamner, QB Ben Holmes, TE Carson Williams, and WR Christopher Platt Jr.
  • Generals signed DE Deyon Sizer, QB Luis Perez, and TE Woody Brandom

New Orleans Breakers

  • Breakers placed OT Donnell Greene on the reserve list/Did Not Report
  • Breakers released CB Derrick Jones, and OLB Diondre Wallace
  • Breakers signed CB Nevelle Clarke, OT Kai Absheer, OG Brandon Rolfe, and CB Mike Stevens

Philadelphia Stars

  • Stars released S Jack Tocho, and TE Bug Howard
  • Star signed S Evan Worthington and TE Pro Wells

Pittsburgh Maulers

  • Maulers released RB De’Veon Smith
  • Maulers placed OT Isaiah Battle on the Reserve/Did Not Report list
  • Maulers signed RB Madre London and OT Justin Evans

Tampa Bay Bandits

  • Bandits released WR Eli Rogers, DE Adam Shuler, and OT Tyler Catalina
  • Bandits signed WR Rashard Davis, DE Zac Dawe, and OT Jalen Booth
