C.J. Stroud is now the odds favorite to be selected First Overall
Las Vegas does a great job at predicting things. The oddsmakers have switched up the first overall pick rankings after Carolina Panthers traded up to number 1 overall with the Chicago Bears.
The Panthers went from number 9 to number 1 in the 2023 NFL Draft, and everyone now feels that Ohio State gunslinger C.J. Stroud is the favorite to be the first overall pick.
A week ago the odds were leaning towards Bryce Young first overall with Anthony Richardson leaping Stroud, but that is not the case this week.
According to oddsmakers, Stroud is -300, while Young is +300 and Richardson is +450.
Is Stroud Carolina’s guy? I am not sure, but right now Vegas sure feels the team is leaning towards the Ohio State standout as the first overall pick.
