Former Detroit Lions defensive back Stanley Wilson Jr. is dead at the age of 40. Wilson died this month during an intake at a medical facility, according to TMZ

If you remember correctly the former Lions star was arrested last year for breaking into a mansion in California.

He was charged with two felony counts of vandalism and one count of second-degree burglary.

Wilson has no ties with this homeowner, so it is very strange that he robbed the home twice.

The most disturbing news is after he broke into the house and damaged property, he took a bath in an outdoor fountain. The report says he used soap he found inside the home to clean himself.

Back in June of 2016, Wilson Jr. was shot in the abdomen trying to break into a Southwest Portland residence while naked. He was also arrested again in Portland in January 2017 for allegedly walking around a neighborhood naked.

He was then arrested in 2017 for breaking into another home naked. Now add in the two times he has broke into this home and Wilson Jr. definitely needed some help. it is sad because he was checking into a Mental Hospital before he passed away.

Prosecutors say Wilson was declared incompetent to stand trial, which led to him being transferred from county jail to the Metropolitan State Hospital for mental health care on Feb. 1. During his intake at the Los Angeles County facility, Wilson collapsed and was later pronounced dead.

In his playing career, Wilson Jr. racked up 89 tackles and 8 PBU’s after being drafted by the Detroit Lions in the third round.
