Florida State doubled the salary of Head Coach Mike Norvell | He is now making more than 8 million a year

Mike Norvell turned the Florida State Seminoles around, and he did it in a couple years. Well, the school awarded him with a brand new contract extension.

Norvell’s annual average salary is now $8.05 million per year. That’s nearly double the $4.5 million he made this past season.

Norvell did change the culture at Florida State. Last year they were amazing, and fought week in and week out, but is it too much?

Norvell is 18-16 at FSU, and while being two games above .500 isn’t super impressive, the Seminoles were 10-3 in 2022. Florida State had the most wins in a season since 2016.

We will see if it carries over to 2023.
