Buccaneers have signed Adarius Glanton to their 53 man roster

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Monday that they’ve signed OLB Adarius Glanton off of the Panthers’ practice squad. In a corresponding move the team released small school defensive back Kimario McFadden.

Adarius Glanton first enrolled at Eastern Arizona College before transferring to Florida Atlantic University. He attended Lake Gibson High School in Lakeland, Florida.

Glanton (6-1, 230) has experience playing in a Panthers’ scheme that bears some similarities to the Buccaneers’ defensive approach. He saw action in 10 games for Carolina as a rookie, starting two at strongside linebacker, and recorded 12 tackles and a forced fumble. He also started in one and appeared in both of the Panthers’ postseason contests, adding one stop. The Panthers first signed Glanton as an undrafted rookie in 2014.
