What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Since I was little, I’ve always been a big fan of the game of football. This stemmed from my father, who always pushed my older brother and I to play football, and from there, my own love for football grew. Not only that, I grew up idolizing Ray Lewis and admired his physicality, tenacity, and passion for the game.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moments from my football career was during my time at my junior college, Chaffey. I took a chance on myself and made it to the next level. Most of all the bonds created and what we were able to accomplish as a team will forever live with me. It’s one of those things despite all the struggles of attending a California junior college. I would gladly do it all over again if I could because Chaffey College molded me mentally into the football player I am today.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Going forward the two main goals that I am working to achieve is to become the best person I can be on and off the field. While also proudly representing the organization that I will become apart of.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would hang out with Ray Lewis. As I mentioned before, I grew up idolizing Ray. I personally would like to pick his brain with questions regarding his film studies, how he prepped for games, and how he processed the game while he was playing.

Which one of your family members inspires you you most and why?

Although I take inspiration from all of my family, I would say my mother and father inspire me the most. My mother and father molded me into the man that I am today. They showed me with hard work and ambition, you can achieve great things no matter where you start in life. With their love and support, I’ve been able to accomplish everything that I’ve set myself out to do.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

I would have to say a 4-2-5; in this scheme, I had a lot of free reign to run sideline to sideline having four defensive linemen in front of me. Also, playing in this scheme allows me to truly play the run first and pass second, having 5 defensive backs on the field. Lastly, I really love the physicality you get to play with being a ILB.

What should we know about Isaac Wallace the person?

What I value dearly are my family, girlfriend, and faith. Those three all play a vital role in the position that I am in now. As a person, I view myself as someone that you can always count on when you need someone to be there. All while being able to persevere through any adversity with my faith and support system.

What stands out about your film the most?

What stands out the most about my film is being a physical player and showing the ability to play with my hat and hands to shed blocks. In addition, I show the ability to run sideline to sideline, the ability to cover backs and tight ends, and have great reactive skills in quick game, screens, and play action.

How do you handle challenges both on life and on the football field?

The way I handle challenges both in life and on the field is trusting and believing in myself by never letting my faith waiver in hard times. What also helps is having an amazing support system, which is made up of my family and girlfriend. I always know when things get rough they’ll help push me through adversity.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team would get a player that will always be consistent. That being no matter the circumstance will be consistently early, being a good teammate, giving everyday my all, and being reliable. In addition, a player who is coachable and always searching for ways to get better at their craft. Most importantly I would add to a teams culture by bringing great character attributes to the locker room.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

What I really love most is the sense of camaraderie and brotherhood that comes with the game. It’s amazing that people from all walks of life can come together and attack a common goal.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

I would say Kobe Cummings, he’s always consistent and someone you can rely on to make a play when you need it. I would say he’s underrated, because he’s put up ridiculous numbers and never got the true recognition that he deserves.
