Blake Martinez wanted to hang up his cleats and he did just that. The former New York Giants linebacker decided 7 months ago to walk away from the game he loved.

Martinez has a company called Blakes Breaks that collects and trades rare cards and flips them for a nice chunk of change.

Well, weeks after quitting he made 672k dollars very quickly and caught our attention.

Martinez recently sold a Pokémon Illustrator card with a Gem Mint 9.5 rating for $672,000. According to Hobby 24/7, Blake has already made more than 5 million dollars in selling Pokemon Cards.

This is pretty wild, and you have to love that the 28-year-old former football player has already made 5 million dollars off Pokemon cards. Pretty crazy when you think he collected as much as $28.948 million in career earnings, per Spotrac.
