Pittman’s Pocket: The University of Arkansas Pine Bluff doing a great job with recruiting

It appears there is motion in Pine Bluff Arkansas.

Their new Head Coach Alonzo Hampton just offered 2 offensive linemen from Junior College out in California, and they are both very impressive players.

The two players also share the last name, minus the final letter in their names. Chris Gonzales and Daniel Gonzalez are both extremely physical blockers in the run-and-passing game.

Chris Gonzales is out of San Diego Mesa Community College and Daniel Gonzalez is from The Mt. Sac Community College.

Both are massive players with long arms, amazing wing spans, and are mean. Their attributes impressed The Newly hired Lions coach, to in which, just this past week, Coach Hampton extended offers to both.

The Bluff is a special place, even though right now, they are not Jackson State or FAMU, but they do have Offensive linemen entering the NFL 2023 combine from the HBCU football community in Mark Evans, as only he and Isaiah Land will represent all HBCUs in this year’s NFL 2023 Combine.

We will see in the upcoming months if both players or one of them consider Coach Alonzo and maybe call the Bluff home, and maybe one day is an NFL prospect, just as Mark Evans is doing this year’s, and previously Terron Armstead.
