Does Trey Lance want out of San Francisco?
Trey Lance posted a photo of Tennessee Titans new GM Ran Carthon on his Instagram story with three fingers crossed emojis underneath it, and it was caught by Outkick Sports, but what does it mean?
The post came shortly after the news that Carthon is likely to become the next GM in Tennessee. I am not sure what this means myself. Maybe he just wanted Ran to get a new gig, but why the crossed finger emojis? We know that Ryan Tannehill is not the future of the Titans, and the Titans rookie Malik Willis did not look very hot in his first action.
Lance was supposed to be the man in San Francisco and that has not come to fruition. With Jimmy G and Trey Lance sidelined with injuries, Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy looks like the quarterback of the future for the Niners.
Carthon going to the Titans is huge, because they have Derrick Henry, but could they use Trey Lance?
I am not sure what to make of this, but I thought it was pretty interesting, and wanted to speculate.
