Tyreek Hill says the reason he wanted to leave Kansas City was he was not being targeted enough

Tyreek Hill is one of the best receivers in the NFL and it is not close, but the Dolphins star maybe a little crazy. The star wide out was on “Club Shay Shay” podcast with Shannon Sharpe and they talked about why he felt it was the time to leave Kansas City and the answer is mind blowing.

“I’m the type of guy, like, I love playing ball and I love being by the team, because football is a team sport, right?,” Hill told Sharpe. “And it would be some games where, like, I’d get two targets, I’d get three targets. And we’d go into meetings and my coach would be like, ‘We’ve got to get you involved, we’ve got to get you involved.’”

Hill claims he told his agent to get him out of Kansas City, and that is how it all started.

The problem is last year he was targeted 159 times which is 9 plus targets a game and would have ranked 7th in the NFL. He was the highest targeted Kansas City Chief as well.

I am not sure what Hill is talking about, but he is getting the ball thrown to him more right now in Miami. He already has 139 targets after 13 weeks. He is only behind Justin Jefferson and Davante Adams with 142 targets.

He definitely is getting the ball a lot in Miami, but he is also the biggest asset. The Chiefs had Travis Kelce who can damage a defense as well. The Dolphins have Waddle which should help getting Hill open more. At the end of the day, at least Tyreek is happy about Miami, but still over targets?
