Russell Wilson is very upset for letting Nathaniel Hackett down | Blames his play for the firing
Is Russell Wilson to blame for the Denver Broncos firing head coach Nathaniel Hackett? If you watched the Broncos games there was a lot more to blame than just Russ, but the star quarterback definitely is taking it hard for his poor play.
Russell told reporters he wish he could have played better for the coach.
“First of all,” Wilson told reporters. “Obviously, devastated about Coach Hackett because I think he’s an amazing man, amazing teacher, amazing father.”
“This season has been a season we never thought was going to happen the way that it did,” Wilson said, before going on to commend Hackett’s coaching ability.
“The reality is I wish I could’ve played better for him too,” he explained. “I wish I could’ve played at the standard and the level that I’ve always played at and know how to play at.”
“What I do know is that he’s resilient he’s gonna be a tremendous coach like I said. I love him to death and everyone misses him for sure,” Wilson said.
The Broncos were a horrible 4-11 under Coach Hackett and there were some saying they thought the Broncos were going to be Super Bowl contenders. That is not very impressive, and Russell Wilson does not look like a franchise quarterback. The Broncos are paying him a lot of money too!
