The NFL is really hard on some things and for some things they are soft. Eli Apple was not happy with the low block in the Bengals game when Mac Jones purposely tried to take out the legs of Eli Apple.

Apple was frustrated after the game when he was asked if he thought it was a dirty play.

“Of course I did (notice it). He tripped me. I thought it was a dirty play. He’s done that before. I’ve seen it.”

Mac Jones has several serious attempts at trying to hurt people. He slides with his foot up to hit people in the junk and let’s face it he almost once broke a players leg who was trying to make a play.

According to Pro Football Talk, Jones will be fined $11,139 for his low block on Apple. It happened after a change of possession; by rule, all blocks below the waist are a violation at that point.

The letter will be going to Mac on Tuesday or Wednesday, according to Mike Florio.

Do you feel the NFL needs to come in and suspend the quarterback? I mean is he purposely trying to hurt players? If something like this happens again he should be suspended, period.
