Patriots legend Julian Edelman blasts Mac Jones for play against the Raiders
Julian Edelman just blasted Mac Jones for not doing everything to beat the Raiders. Edelman, who works for Showtime’s “Inside the NFL,” had some harsh commentary about Jones during the latest episode of the show.
He said Jones could have done more.
“Season’s on the line, you gotta trip him!” Edelman said, per WEEI’s Nick Stevens.
His co-host then jumped in and tried to defend Mac Jones that he doesn’t practice tackling, and Edelman continued to blast Jones saying he doesn’t practice whining either but does it a lot.
“He doesn’t practice waving off the coaches and all these antics and (expletive) faces and stuff. He doesn’t practice that and he does it. Why can’t he make the play?” Edelman asked.
There is no way that the Patriots keep Mac Jones long term right? He is on the shortest leash in the NFL. Bill Belichick took another jab at him this week.
