Jimmy Garoppolo will miss the remainder of the 2023 season, but there were many reports saying the former small school quarterback would need surgery, but that may not be the case anymore.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Garoppolo met with doctors on Tuesday and was told he does not need surgery.
Garoppolo also avoided a Lisfranc injury. This means Jimmy could be back in 8 weeks if rehab goes well.
Could Jimmy G end up coming back and playing in the Divisional Round of the playoffs? It is a possibility. All eyes now will be on Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy to see if he can keep the red-hot 49ers going!
