Player Summary:
RS SR and 1 yr full-time starter at WR where he lines up in the slot in the spread offense of CALA. He played RB up until the 2020 season. He has poor height with marginal weight and above-average speed with a slender build. He is a solid athlete showing a combination of solid COD, explosiveness, acceleration, lateral quickness and agility with subpar balance and solid top end play speed. Shows good position versatility as he excels as a KR. Against zone coverage he shows above-average football intelligence as he does a good job of reading the coverage and quickly finds the soft spot in the zone. He is a solid route runner who shows solid hip fluidity as he breaks off his stem while running mainly underneath routes with an occasional vertical route. He displays average hands showing average manual dexterity as he displays a catch radius that enables him to catch the ball with his hands close to his body. When run blocking, he displays good heart and mental toughness as he attempts to block DB with above-average size and delivers a well-timed punch to the frame of his man. Good mental toughness enables him to elevate his game on 3rd down. Lack of quality AA causes him to struggle to consistently gain separation in off-man against DB with good FBI who can read his hips and match his feet. Ordinary in contested catch situations due to him struggling to box out DB and LB with above-average physical toughness and AA which is due to his poor size and marginal play strength. Exhibits marginal YAC ability due to poor contact balance and lack of quality play speed. Struggles to consistently maintain his block while run blocking due to marginal play strength.
