Qumain Black one of the best small-school cornerbacks in the nation in 2015 was arrested on a complaint of human trafficking.

Qumain Black was one of the most talented small-school defensive backs in college football back in 2015. He was so talented that he would eventually be signed by the Chicago Bears. Black is a legend in the town of Ada, Oklahoma.

Black attended Ada High School where he was a star on their football team. He would end up landing at East Central University and eventually turn NFL scouts heads, earning a shot with the Bears.

Black, 28 was arrested by Ada police on a federal warrant from the US District Court Northern District of Texas and was transported to Texas.

The AdaNews had this report about the arrest:

According to a federal criminal complaint document written by Sgt. Thomas Hruskocy, with the Texas Attorney General’s Office – Human Trafficking Unit in Austin, Texas, “Black along with others known and unknown, recruited, enticed, harbored, transported, provided, obtained or maintained several young women for the purpose of commercial sex.”

Many of the victims said that Black would act as a pimp to these adult women by pimping them out and receiving money. The victims claimed they were scared not to perform the acts because Black would become violent. These complaints are taken seriously and they do carry a hefty prison sentence if found guilty.

I will say this about Qumain, I have known him for many years, and he has always been a humble and great kid. He was constantly working, and was becoming a great father. To see this news hurts, and while we hate to report arrests in the news, we have to remember Black is innocent until proven guilty.
