XFL sued? XFL has not even started and they are already being sued
The XFL will begin next year, and they are already being sued.
Sue Bird the owner of Togethxr has filed a lawsuit against The Rock and the XFL for their rebranded logo. This comes a little over a month after Sue Bird went public to tell the Rock that the logo looked familiar.
Megan Rapinoe the fiancée of Bird, was the first to let the Rock know on social media, and now they are following through with the lawsuit.
This image was also included in the lawsuit. You can see it is very similar.
The attorneys for TOGETHXR said the XFL has “failed to acknowledge that it has tread on TOGETHXR’s rights” — and now, they want a court to step in and force the league to stop using the X logo … plus damages.
This could get ugly. Maybe the XFL will have a new logo soon.
