What are your favorite moments from your football life?

The bonds and memories you get to create with your brothers while being blessed to play the game.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would say Calvin Johnson. It was just always fun to watch him play wanted to play like him when I played WR. So I would like to hang out with Megatron one day.

What sets you apart from other defensive backs?

Physicality and ball judgement is what I feel like that sets me apart from others. Also play Recognition.

How do you prepare for games?

With a great week of practice and film study. Knowing who my opponent is for that week.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

Positive and any thing it takes type of energy. I give my best every two because you never know what rep can be a game changer.

What should we know about Shemar Bartholomew the person?

Very family oriented with great personality always have a smile because our lord blesses us everyday. I’m driven to always be the best player I can be everyday. And always a helping hand to others.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Keldrick Ward he also played defensive back. He was just always was dealing with injuries but when he wasn’t hurt you can see he was one heck of a player.

What is your favorite coverage and why?

Cover 2. I am able to give the offense a different look to make it look like a different coverage. Such as man or cover 3 so they never know and be able force more turnovers.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Keeping faith in God knowing that he has got me and hard times don’t last forever. And surrounding myself with good people to help me through it.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They would get a player that is willing to help the team and organization succeed. Also an great teammate you can rely on.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

To bring back the winning culture to Northwestern State.

What is a moment that improved you as a football player?

When I first got to college and everyone was fast and strong, so I had to better my technique to separate myself.
