What makes you a top prospect at your position  in the 2023 NFL Draft? 

In addition to be being blessed with the physical traits of a high performing athlete, I am determined to push myself to be the best every day. I am huge compared to other Wide Receivers and I can run with anyone. I’ve recorded times like 1.56 10 yd dash and 4.2 shuttle times, as well as a 36” Vert. I am a versatile player. My size and athleticism allows me to play outside, inside getting matched up with LBs and Safeties, and even play RB if need. Most importantly, I am an very intellectual. I can memorize the playbook quickly and can catch onto schemes and even defensive fronts. I am also extremely coachable and always looking for corrections to improve and master my craft. 

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

For as long as I can remember, football has been my passion. Whether it was watching it with my dad and brothers or playing at the park with my friends, football has always been my happy place. It wasn’t until the 8th grade I started playing organized football. 

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you? 

I am resilient. I believe that I have faced an extreme amount of adversity in my life, but I never let it hold me back. My circumstances have not only made me into the player I am today, but also developed me into a leader on and off he field. Throughout my life, many people have doubted me. People thought I wouldn’t make my varsity football team, they thought I wasn’t built to play on offense, and some even thought I couldn’t play Division 1 ball. I continuously prove those people wrong, and now I am ready to prove that I can perform at the highest level. 

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be? 

I would donate to help with the funding of breast cancer research and early mammogram screenings, especially for Black women who suffer a mortality rate double other races in the United States.  

What is the best advice you have ever received? 

My brothers once told me to never allow anyone to tell you what dreams you should pursue. Big or small.

Who was your childhood hero? 

My father is my hero. Being raised in a Nigerian household hasn’t been easy. However, my father has continued to be an example of resiliency. I have watched him time and time again overcome every obstacle he’s faced while simultaneously providing for his children and showing them how they go about respecting not only themselves but others around them. 

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school? 

It’s actually pretty funny because he just did an interview with you, Myles Kitt-Denton, or Tyion Berry. 

What is your biggest pet peeve? 

There are so many people where I came from who have the natural born talent, but are never given the opportunity to prove themselves. My biggest pet peeve is when people are given these opportunities, but in turn don’t put in the work to continue to advance. 

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome? 

Like most of the world, when COVID-19 hit it really changed my life. I had to deal with missing weeks of practice due to being a close contact to teammates, breaking my foot, and losing a close family member. Despite all of this, I still showed up and continued to perform everyday. 

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

My school’s football field is striped purple and gray, it’s special to me because being here in Conway reminds me a lot of my home in Fort Worth, Tx.

What is your favorite snack food? 

I would say steak, but if that doesn’t count as a snack then any gummy snack with beef gelatin. 

What is the best part of football? 

The best part of football is the bonds you can create with the multitude of different people. We all come from different races, religions, economic standings, and more but we find ways to have each other’s backs while pushing towards a common goal.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say? 

You are looking at a man who will work every day to be the best on and off the field and is ready to listen and adapt to my teams scheme. 

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be? 

DK Metcalf, a lot of people thought he couldn’t move because he was so big and strong but he shocked the world!

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why? 

1. Warren Buffett, he’s known for his dividend investing strategy while also being someone who started investing at the ripe age of 11. Fun fact, I too invest in dividend paying stocks. 
2. Michael Jordan, the most competitive athlete in history, I would love to talk about how he was able to stay so consistent throughout his career and play at such an elite level of intensity. 
3. Dez Bryant, one of my favorite Wideouts, he always dealt with media attention whilst playing at a high level. I’d love to know how he was able to ignore that and stay focused on the game.
