Former Stanford offensive lineman Jonathan Martin says “NFL is not worth money”

Jonathan Martin the former Miami Dolphins draft pick and Carolina Panther has deleted a tweet that he posted last night. That tweet was a shot at the NFL.

“Gonna miss football… Was always my dream to play in the NFL. Proud to say I did it, the right way, even if for not as long as I wanted.”

A few moments later, he said:  “But ein the end, football was just a job, albeit a fun and well-paying one. Being in a wheelchair at 50 isn’t worth any amount of money.”

Martin will be best known for the bully scandal that cost both him and Richie Incognito a job in the NFL. Incognito was able to rebound, and by the sounds of it Martin did not want to rebound and play.
