Seahawks star WR D.K. Metcalf skips mandatory minicamp | Is D.K. Metcalf upset over his contract?

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf was not in attendance for the first day of the Seattle Seahawks mandatory minicamp. A lot of wide receivers have been getting a huge paycheck this year, and the one player who has not even been involved in the talks is Metcalf.
Well, according to Pro Football Talk, Metcalf’s absence is unexcused. If he misses all three days of minicamp, he could be fined escalating amounts that would total just over $93,000.
Pete Carroll did not talk to the media about Metcalf missing the mandatory camp, but this is big news.
Metcalf did have foot surgery earlier this off-season as well. This could limit him from being there, but by not showing up he is showing his frustration over the contract talks or the injury. Either way this is something we need to keep an eye on moving forward.
Could D.K. Metcalf end up traded? The Titans recently traded A.J. Brown and that was likely going to be an ugly issue with a contract as well. It will be something to keep an eye on for sure!
