What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Growing up I was always surrounded by sports with a large emphasis placed on football. My father coached semi-pro, and my uncle was one of the best high school players to ever play in my hometown, so it was just natural for me.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

If I could hang out with one player from today’s day and age, it would be Odell Beckham Jr. I just feel that he has been through so much adversity and always finds a way to overcome it, he would be great to learn from.

How do you prepare for games?

Mentally I like to study my opponents for tendencies and both weaknesses and strengths and use those to my advantage. As far as pre-game, I am a big headphone guy. The speaker in the locker room is all good, but I like to be able to listen to my choice of music.

What sets you apart from other wide receivers?

My strength and versatility are some things that I feel separate me from other wideouts. Of all the teams I have been on, I was always one to play any spot that is needed, whether that be in the slot, outside or even in the backfield. I am also a guy that takes the weight room very serious, so I am stronger than your typical wideout.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I am not the type of guy to scream and yell to get guy’s hype. I do however carry myself in a very positive way, I love to boost people’s confidence in order for them to be their best and help the team.

What is your favorite route and why?

My favorite route to run would have to be an over-the-top post. For me, this route is a win only route. There is so much that can be done from your stem to the top of the route that there is almost no stopping it.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

The locker room after a big win has to be my favorite moments, celebrating with all the guys. But I do appreciate a good two-minute-drill.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

I am looking forward to turning things around here at Millersville University. We are a smaller school with not the best history, and I think it is time for that to change, and for Millersville to be put back on the map.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

The best way to handle any challenge in my opinion is to face it head on. There is no tiptoeing around the obstacle. The quickest way to get from point A to point B is a straight line, and I am not going to let anything get in my way of that.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Any team that gets me is going to get someone that will get whatever job that is needed done. I can stretch the field and provide that spark the offense needs or I can be that 3rd down receiver that you send over the middle to make the big play for a first down. I have also shown to be an affective returner with both punts and kickoffs.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

There is one key that I feel is most important to success on the football field, and that is preparation. I am a firm believer that the teams that work the hardest, are the most successful at the end of the day. A close second for me would have to be chemistry. Of the teams that I have been on, the most success came from when all of the guys were cool with each other.

If there was a billboard with 5 of your traits on it which 5 traits would be up there?

Determined, hard working, leader, consistent and smart.
