What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft? 

I am a very quick learner. I pick things up very well and progress at a very high level. Playing the tackle position is all about adjustment, and my ability to adjust well is one of my biggest strengths.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I didn’t seriously start playing football until the summer after my junior year of high school. Before then I didn’t even watch football, I was more of a basketball guy.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be? 

NothingButNets is an organization I worked with during my internship with Aptive Environmental. This organization donates mosquito nets to kids and families in Africa to help prevent Malaria and other infections that can be transmitted by mosquitoes.

What is the best advice you have ever received? 

I went to George Floyd square in Minneapolis this summer and meet some of his family, during my walk near Goerge Floyd’s mural a man approached me and started talking to me about myself. He told me to write this down “It’s not how good you are, it’s about how good you want to be”, and he wasn’t talking to me about just football, he was talking about life.

Who was your childhood hero? 

Micheal Jackson, I was the biggest Jackson fan growing up.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school? 

Xavier Ricks

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Selfish people 

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome? 

During my post-grad year at Taft School, I came across a roadblock with the NCAA eligibility center. This was one of the most stressful moments of my life, I didn’t get cleared to play NCAA football until April 25th, and it was at that point that I received my first offer to Howard, which I ended up committing to after a long period of waiting.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

The Yard, Howard University’s Yard is one of the most historical sites on campus. it’s where I met most of my friends and had the most fun on campus. 

What is your favorite snack food? 
Cheese Cake

What is the best part of football? 

Locker Room Comradery 

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say? 

By any means!

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be? 

Orlando Brown

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why? 

  1. Kevin Durant ( My favorite NBA player)
  2. Denzel Washington ( I have always admired his personality)
  3. Jesus Christ ( I have a lot of questions for him)
