The Dallas Police Department has arrested both 28-year-old Aries Jones and 21-year-old Tivione English in connection to the murder of Cameron Ray.

Ray was shot and killed after an altercation that took place on March 18th. The two men arrested are from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and according to the lawyers of Dallas Cowboys cornerback Kelvin Joseph was with them during the time of the murder.

Joseph however was not arrested in the fatal shooting.

According to news reporters of WFAA, Joseph was in the suspects’ vehicle at the time of the shooting. Joseph was reportedly questioned by police, but thus far no charges have been filed against the 22-year-old defensive back.

The NFL and the Cowboys will both have to review the shooting because it would fall under the league’s personal conduct policy.

Joseph is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Joseph began his playing career at LSU before transferring to Kentucky. He would end up being selected with the 44th overall pick by the Cowboys. The two-men who reportedly killed Ray could be charged with the death penalty if found guilty.

Police did not say what led them to identify English and Jones as the shooters.
