What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

When I was a little kid me and my older brother used to see our neighbour come home with his football pads all the time. My brother got really interested in playing and was extremely persistent with asking my parents to register him to play and eventually they did. At the time I didn’t want to play, but he kept telling me I should sign up too. After about an hour of me and him going back and forth, I asked my mom to sign me up as well, and I never looked back since.

What sets you apart from other defensive backs?

I have the speed and skill set to play any position on the back end. But what I believe really separates me from most defensive backs is my size and physicality, it allows me to be versatile and have the ability to play in the box as well.

If there was a billboard with 5 of your traits on it which 5 traits would be up there?

In no particular order: plays fast, fluid in coverage skills, very physical, sure tackler, and leader.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I bring excitement onto the field, I get fired up. It’s a contagious energy and it brings the intensity out of my teammates as well.

What is your favorite coverage and why?

I don’t really have a particular favourite coverage. Different coverages allow you to do different things. We play a lot of man at my school so naturally I really like and I’m very comfortable in man coverage.

What should we know about Adrian Greene the person?

I’m calm, cool and collected. I’m resilient with an unmatched work ethic. I’m a personable individual and I love my family.

How are you planning to prepare for the draft?

I plan to prepare by being consistent with my training, sleep and nutrition. I have a lot of great people helping me throughout this process, helping me to be ready.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I’ve had the opportunity to play with and against a lot of great athletes and players. Through all the ups and downs that happen in sports I think the relationships I’ve built have truly been a blessing for me.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I handle challenges I face with self-talk. I look at the situation, review things I may have not done well then try to fix them for the next time and look at things I may have done well and repeat them. After that, remind myself to continue to move forward. I have a really close relationship with my family and speak to them through tough times as well.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They would be getting a player that is willing to do anything to help them win.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I think I would spend a day with Chad Ochocinco. He was great player and he seems like a cool person as well.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

I think the key to success on the field is being consistent through your training, sleep and nutrition. I think being consistent will help with that for sure.
