What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Football runs in my family and it was my first passion. I’ve always wanted to be a football player since I could last remember.

What is your favorite coverage and why?

My favorite coverage is man but I like playing all coverages. Zone coverages are fun because you get to read QB eyes and make a lot of plays.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Being more prepared than your opponent and then having confidence in everything that you do on the football field.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I have a strong support system who helps me on and off the field to be able to fight through adverse situations.

What sets you apart from other defensive backs?

I can play anything. FS, SS, nickel, and corner. My versatility will and does set me apart.

What should we know about Russ Yeast the person?

I’m much different than what you probably see from me on the field. I know how to flip my switch but off the field I’m very calm and laid back.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I want to achieve my lifetime goal of being an NFL football player and that starts with making a 53 man roster. After that I will be onto making new goals because I just don’t want to be in the league I want to be successful in the league.

Deion Sanders to learn what it takes be great.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moments are just the times I get to spend with my teammates and create friendships for life.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A competitor and a player that will play anything to help win games.

How are you planning to prepare for the draft?

I’m training at X3 here in Florida for proday.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I bring an infectious energy on the field that brings my teammates along with me.
