What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I just bring my playing style, talent, playing fast and playing smart.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I’ll say winning the state championship in high school because none of my brothers have won a state championship in high school.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Just taking them straight on and attacking them.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Tyrann Mathieu, because I just want to see how he carries himself and his playing style is different plus all that adversity. That’s just someone you want to learn from.

What sets you apart from other linebackers?

My speed and my range being able to move from sideline to sideline and being able to cover anyone.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Knowing your responsibility, to have heart and to have that never give up mentality.

What should we know about Marvin Pierre the person?

I’m a little laid back, I can relate to anybody,I don’t back down from any challenge and I’m an old soul.

What is your typical training routine?

I really like to work on my body first, I like to work on my endurance, I like to be strong, linebacker drills, footwork, and ball drills.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Growing up I was a basketball player. I still like basketball, but I’ve always been an athlete. It was in high school and people were telling me I got a shot at being a football player and I started to pick up scholarships and being recognized.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They would get a ball hawking player ready to know his assignment, hardworker, and use my skills to the best of my ability to win football games.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

First of all to make it to the NFL and getting drafted is something I look forward to but also enjoy my time and have fun and try to be the best.

What do you love about the game of football?

How it brings everybody together and the connections it brings.
