Top 5 NAIA Football match-ups week 10 | Five must watch games this week in the NAIA

1.Morningside University at Northwestern College(IA)

• This might be the biggest regular season matchup in the NAIA with 2 championship contenders going at it. Senior wide receiver Cade Moser is the guy to watch offensively for Northwestern College who has 1,041 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. Defensively for the Mustangs they have senior defensive back Drew Bessey who has 18 tackles, 5 PBUs and 3 interceptions. Offensively for Morningside they have senior running back Anthony Sims who has 1,065 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns. The Raiders defense has sophomore linebacker Parker Fryar who has 70 tackles, 5 TFLs and 3 QBHs.

2.University of Cumberlands(KY) at Georgetown College(KY)

• Should be an interesting Mid-South conference matchup here. Georgetown’s offense has senior quarterback Brandon Burgess who has 1,557 passing yards and 13 touchdowns in 2021. On the Cumberlands side defensively they have junior defensive back JaCobie Elkins who has 20 tackles and 4 PBUs. For the Patriots offense they have redshirt senior wide receiver Brandon Stuckey who has 595 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns this season. DJ White senior linebacker has 33 tackles, 12.5 TFLs, 7.5 sacks and 3 PBUs for Georgetown’s defense.

3.University of St.Francis(ILL) at Roosevelt University 

• The Saints of St.Francis Illinois are going to be taking on the Lakers of Roosevelt University at Roosevelt. Roosevelt’s offense has junior running back Ke’von Johnson who has 722 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns. The Saints defensively have junior defensive back Angel Mata who has 37 tackles, 5 PBUs and 3 interceptions. The Saints offense has senior wide receiver Ravon Johnson who has 640 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns. Junior defensive back Julian Bell has 17 tackles, 3 PBUs and 3 interceptions.

4.Arizona Christian University at Langston University 

• Going to be a battle in this one possibly. Grad running back Ger’Kerry Jackson of Langston has 855 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns. Arizona Christian has sophomore defensive back Craig Martin IV who has 35 tackles, 3 PBUs and 2 interceptions. For the Arizona Christian offense they have junior quarterback Tyler Duncan who has 2,046 passing yards and 14 touchdowns. Defensively for Langston they have senior defensive lineman Loren Young who has 24 tackles, 12.5 TFLs and 5.5 sacks.

5.Dakota State University at Valley City State University 

• This North Star Athletic Association should be good. Valley City State has sophomore running back Justice Bice who has 736 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns. Defensively for Dakota State they have freshman defensive back Jay Skogerboe who has 41 tackles, 4 PBUs and 4 interceptions. Dakota State’s offense has senior running back Brenner Furlong who has 280 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. Defensively for Valley City State they have beast freshman linebacker Riley Gerhardt who has 75 tackles, 16.5 TFLs, 8.5 sacks and 3 PBUs.
