Draft Diamonds Member Mock: 7 Round Dallas Cowboys Mock Draft

Dallas Cowboys released two players to make room for Danny McCray and Donnie Baggs.
Dallas Cowboys seven round Mock Draft presented by Draft Diamonds writer Richard Gerber

As a Cowboys fan our recent draft history has been successful at the top but pretty barren in the lower rounds. If our team is to truly contend for a deep playoff run we need to start finding these hidden gems like Richard Sherman/Josh Norman/Antonio Brown. The below mock is a wish list but also presents players that should and could be there for Dallas when they are on the clock in each respective round. I hope you like what you see! Buccaneers quarterback is lobbying for his former teammate Jalen Ramsey
Could you imagine the Dallas Cowboys landing Jalen Ramsey?

RD 1 Pick 4: Jalen Ramsey S/CB Florida State

Ramsey flies all over and is a ball hawking defender, something Dallas has lacked in the secondary for a long time. Teaming him with Byron Jones could be a huge blessing going forward

RD 2 Pick 34: Jonathan Bullard DE Florida

Our Cowboys will be missing our two starting DE’s the first 4 weeks so that needs to be addressed with the talented Bullard.

RD 3 Pick 67: Braxton Miller WR Ohio State

The Cowboys need someone to take over for Terrance Williams who doesn’t appear to want the job opposite Bryant. Miller is a stud still learning the position.

Devontae Booker will hold an individual workout for NFL teams next TuesdayRD 4 pick 101: Devontae Booker HB Utah

Not only is he a talented RB but he is also from my neck of the woods in Sacramento Ca. Booker could be special behind the best O Line in football.

RD 4 Pick 135: Kevin Hogan QB Stanford

Hogan is a smart underrated QB who did what everyone thought he couldn’t…continue strong success at Stanford after Andrew Luck left and not only that but won more football games at Stanford than any other QB ever.

RD 6 Pick 189: Marcus Maye S Florida

The need for help in the secondary is strong and I believe Maye is a better safety right now than Jeff Heath.

Deiondre Hall 1RD 6 Pick 212: Eric Striker OLB Oklahoma

Can be a star special teams player for year or two and become solid starter in the near future.

Rd 6 Pick 216: Derek Watt FB Wisconsin

To make the running game more effective a true fullback is needed, the bloodlines are nice but he is a great lead blocker as well.

RD 6 Pick 217: Deiondre Hall CB Northern Iowa

Hall is a lengthy CB with a high football IQ, like Striker can be special teams standout and warm up with spot duty.
