What makes you a top prospect at your position  in the 2023 NFL Draft

I would say I am a top prospect because I understand my role for my position whether it is at LT or C. I have many tools/techniques and understand leverage in both pass and run game. I have only given up 1 pressure in my college career.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I have always had a passion for football and I would say that stems from my father. Getting to hear and see what he accomplished during his playing career both in college and in the NFL has impacted me since I was 5 years old playing flag football.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I am very versatile and can play any position on the OL. Have started both LT and RT as well as guard.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

Wounded Warrior project

What is the best advice you have ever received?

“Go where you are wanted and not where you want to go”

Who was your childhood hero?

I would say my mom is my hero for many reasons. She is a prime example for what hard work and dedication looks like. She is always looking to improve, doesn’t matter if it’s at work or something personal. She puts her head down and doesn’t complain and simply gets it done. I strive to be like her everyday when my feet hit the ground.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

Jacques Tyler. Dude is an unreal CB and can block a FG and Punt anytime he is asked.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

My biggest pet peeve is complaining.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

As a young kid I wasn’t the skinniest so trying to fit in was really hard.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

UTPB is special to me because it was an opportunity to be part of history and set a foundation for a university that has a really bright future. Also it is very close to home and gave everyone in my family a chance to watch me play.

What is your favorite snack food?

Any type of breakfast food!

What is the best part of football?

Building relationships with my teammates and getting to bond and grow through a sport that we all love.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I am a very hard worker and strive to better myself on and off the football field and all I need is a chance to prove myself.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

I would say I compare my style of play similar to Andrew Whitworth.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

  1. My grandpa on my dads side, he passed before I was born.
  2. Duke Manyweather from OL masterminds. Just getting to pick his brain and hear what the best have to say would be life changing.
  3. Joe Thomas from the Cleveland Browns.
