What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2022 NFL Draft?

What makes me a top prospect at my position in the 2022 NFL Draft is my versatility and the ability to play all 5 positions on offense as well as the Dline. 

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

Since I saw my dad play at the semi pro level when I was 5.  

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

One thing that NFL teams should know about myself is that I show up to play every single day. Football is what I love to do and I have so much more left to prove.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

One cause I would donate to would be youth sports because underprivileged kids aren’t always able to have athletic opportunities.  

What is the best advice you have ever received?

The best advice I ever received is “If this is the worst thing to ever happen to you, you’ve lived a blessed life”. This is the best advice ever because no matter what you’re going through, there is always someone going through something worse and still made it. 

Who was your childhood hero?

My childhood hero is my dad because time after time he faced adversity and still makes family a priority. 

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

The most underrated teammate in my locker room is Mason Grey. Shortest person on my team but continuously gives his 110% on and off the field.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

My biggest pet peeve is my teammates giving up. Each day that we get to step on the field is a blessing, so it’s only right that we give our all to a sport that gives us so much in return.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

The hardest moment in my life I had to overcome is watching my parents go through divoice and watching my mother struggle with her mental health. 

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

Lock Haven is special to me because it gave me the opportunity to play football with both of my brothers, Austin & Sammy Barber.  

What is your favorite snack food?

My favorite snack food is Dortios.  

What is the best part of football?

The best part of football is the hitting.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

If I could sell myself with one sentence it would be “Hard working teddy bear until the whistle blows!

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

If I could compare my play with one player in the NFl it would be Carlton Haserlig and Quentin Nelson.  

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

If I could have dinner with three people dead or alive it would be Denzel Washington, Dave Chappelle and my uncle, Frank Barber. First person I would wish I could have dinner with is Denzel Washington because he is a great actor, person, and inspiration to who I want to be someday. Next would be Dave Chappelle because he is my favorite comedian and I wish to pick his brain on a couple of subjects. Lastly, my uncle Frank Barber because he died when I was younger and I never really got the opportunity to learn or to connect with him.
