There is no better atmosphere in the XFL than our Nation’s capitol. Let’s face it, Washington DC loves football and their fans showed up this week and made an impact in the game.

The DC Defenders fanbase is much like the Buffalo Bills fans, they do not care about much, but their beer snake is like the BillsMafia’s tables. You do not touch the beer snake or the tables for either one of these franchises.

There was a delay of game after a DC Defenders touchdown yesterday because the fans began throwing lemons onto the field. You cannot make this stuff up. The 16k fans in attendance love their DC Defenders and if you seen photos of their beer snake you would even be proud of them.

Midway through the game, you could hear on the television a chant in the background and the DC Fans wanted to let the world know about the owner of the Washington Commanders. Dan Snyder had his own chant at the XFL game, and it was great.

Here they are chanting we want lemons which eventually turned into F Dan Snyder later on in the event.

Add in the fact that there were helmets being thrown at the end of the game, when St. Louis Battlehawks quarterback AJ McCarron was sacked on the final play of the game. St. Louis had won the last two games in come from behind fashion and had a shot yesterday, but could not pull of the win. The game ended on a chippy note though, with players getting ejected.

Defenders Francis Bernard and Rod Taylor, along with St. Louis’ Brian Hill – were ejected from the game because of a fight that broke out.

DC Defenders are 3-0 folks! They maybe the team to beat right now as well!!!!!
