Army Major Fred Grooms Jr. recently returned from overseas and he wanted to surprise his son who was a freshman football player at Helena High School. Grooms Jr. has spent the last year in Kuwait but returned to surprise his son and let me tell you it is awesome.
Fred III and his dad embraced in the middle of the field with everyone clapping. It was pretty awesome to see. Football is great, and this was a great way to get me to cry!
