Tell us about your hometown, and what you love most about it?

•Johnson City, Tennessee. I enjoy the small town feel but there’s a lot to do there. Also, my family is there or close to there.

List these three in order of importance and why: Film Study, Strength and Conditioning and Practice?

•Strength and Conditioning, Film Study, then Practice. You’ve got to be in the right physical and mental form for the field. And I think that to know exactly what you need to practice for a game, you’ve got to watch film.

What do you worry about, and why?

•My family and friends. I always want to make sure they are okay and happy. I try not to worry about things that are out of my control though.

Give me an example of when you failed at something. How did you react and how did you overcome failure?

•I would say the 2017 football season. We finished 3-8 and it was by far the worst season I had ever been apart of. I trained harder that off season along with my teammates and we came back the next season to win 6 games.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

•My silent leadership. I can’t say I am the most outgoing guy, I’m on more of the quiet side but I am a leader. I don’t think you have to be loud to lead.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

•Jonathan Allen with Alabama

What would your career be if you couldn’t play football?

•Id like to own my own business one day. I am not sure what type yet.

Room, desk, and car – which do you clean first?

•My room, I keep my desk and car and room pretty clean.

If there was a disaster and you could either save three strangers or one family member, which would you choose and why?

•I’d choose a family member. Family is the most important thing to me.

If you could be any television or movie character, who would you be and why?

•The Rock. It seems like he can’t make a bad movie. And I’ve always been a wrestling fan.

Tell me about your biggest adversity in life and how you’ve dealt with or overcome it?

•I’ve had a pretty blessed life, I can’t complain. But I guess it would be my parents divorce. It happened when I was young so it was pretty normal to me, but it was different. Thankfully both sides of my family get along great and everyone makes it super easy on me.

What is your most embarrassing moment?

•I was very clumsy as a kid and all through grade school so there’s honestly a lot to choose from here.

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

•Our game winning field goal against Samford in 2017.

What song best describes your work ethic?

•Lord Knows by Meek Mill, it’s my go to pre game song.

What is the most important trait you can have (Physical or Non-Physical) to help you succeed at the next level?

•Competitiveness. You’ve got to compete with people around you and with yourself daily.

If you could bring one person back from the dead for one day, who would it be and why?

•I don’t think I would choose anyone for this. I don’t want to disturb anyone who is dead.

If you were to open a dance club, what would you name it?

•I can’t dance, so I’d open a karaoke bar instead. My girlfriend loves karaoke and her name is Macy so probably Macy’s Mic Drop.

Who is the most underrated player in the NFL?

•Matt Ryan

Would you rather be liked or respected, and why?

•Respected. Respect has always been immensely important to me.

What player who had his career derailed by off-field issues do you feel for the most and why?

•Michael Vick. He was on track to being one of the best ever. Being a Falcons fan he was the first person that came to my mind.

Do you love to win, or hate to lose?

• That’s tough but I’d say love to win. The reason I prepare is to win.

Who has been the biggest influence on your life and explain why?

• My mom. I’ve watched her work hard my whole life and she embodies incredible strength. She’s been extremely supportive to me.
