New York Giants drop 10 picks in the fourth round for walkie talkie violations

Giants drop 10 spots in the 2017 nfl draft

New York Giants have moved from pick 130 to 140 in the 2017 NFL Draft, because they used walkie talkies during a game.

The league fined both the Giants ($150,000) and McAdoo ($50,000) in December for his Week 14 rules-breaking early in the fourth quarter of a 10-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium, and it also announced that Big Blue’s fourth-round pick would fall a maximum of 12 spots.

The Giants were not awarded any compensatory picks. That is not a surprise after their spending spree in free agency last year. The Giants did find out their fourth-round pick drops from No. 130 to No. 140 overall as a result of the discipline they received for using walkie-talkies during a game.
