Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?
Being a Big Brother to less fortunate kids around school through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program has been awesome. Watching these kids grow up and having the ability to be a part of their lives for the past four years is a special experience.
What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?
Microeconomic Theory

St. Louis, Missouri
Who is your role model, and why?
My mom and dad are my role models because they have sacrificed so much for me to get to where I am today.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Baseball and Basketball

FB and LS
At your position, what separates you from others?
My run blocking and quickness for my size.
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
I look for specific tendencies a guy I am going against might have. Then I look to see what his weaknesses and strengths are.
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
Zack Hodges from Harvard
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Jason Witten. One of the most reliable to ever play the position, and he’s always making plays.
Playing as an undersized freshman. Overcame it by getting in the weight room and working my way up to 265.

Consistency with my long snaps
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
I’d say you would be getting a guy who would come in day in and day out as one of your hardest workers and who is always eager to learn.

Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell, Seth Rogan
What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?
Buy my dad a new tractor.
