Salary Cap continues to rise

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the NFL plans to inform teams this week that they’re projecting a 2017 salary cap to be somewhere between $163 million and $165 million. Which would be 10 million dollars plus increase from the 155.27 million it is right now.

NFL owners are scheduled to meet this week in Dallas. At that meeting, the league’s management council presents the first 2017 salary-cap projections to teams before they are finalized next year.
